About the Role

As a School Nurse Lead, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of students and staff through exceptional clinical care and proactive health education. You’ll manage the daily operations of a school-based clinic, promote preventive health, and uphold high standards of infection control, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

This role is both hands-on and leadership-oriented, blending clinical excellence with operational oversight to deliver a first-class school health experience.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Care & Patient Management

Provide quality clinical care, including assessments, treatment, and follow-up for students and staff.

Handle medical emergencies, referrals, and specialist consultations via our digital platform (mDaktari).

Maintain high standards of care through adherence to clinical protocols and continuous learning (CME participation).

Preventive Health & Education

Conduct health screenings and promote wellness through talks, counseling, and health awareness sessions.

Champion school-wide preventive health initiatives and promote holistic well-being.

Safety & Infection Control

Ensure full compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Oversee first-aid supplies, waste management, and clinic hygiene protocols.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate and complete medical records through EMR systems.

Prepare health reports and submit timely updates to central HQ and the Franchise Success Manager.

Clinic Administration & Management

Oversee daily clinic operations, inventory, and asset maintenance.

Implement new operational processes, ensure stock availability, and manage clinic budgets.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to address student health needs.

Provide feedback and performance updates to management and ensure customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN), Valid NCK license and retention

Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support

3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience

Background in pediatrics, school health, outpatient care, or community health

Proven ability to provide health education and promote preventive care

Skills & Attributes

Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, proactive, and able to work independently

Experience in mental health or counseling is an added advantage
