MM Shah and MV Shah Academy (CBE Section) is looking for a compassionate and professionally qualified School Nurse to oversee the health and wellbeing of our students and staff. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy school environment.

ROLE SUMMARY
The School Nurse will serve as the first point of contact for health-related matters within the school. This includes providing first aid, managing medical records, supporting student wellness, and coordinating with families and healthcare providers as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer first aid and manage acute illness or injury among students and staff
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records and medication administration logs
- Conduct routine health screenings and support the monitoring of students with chronic conditions
- Liaise with parents, guardians, and external healthcare professionals as required
- Develop and implement health education and wellness initiatives for the school community
- Ensure the clinic is well-stocked, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns through appropriate channels
- Support students with special health needs and develop individual health care plans
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in Nursing (Kenya Registered Nurse/Midwife preferred)
- Valid registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills
Previous experience in paediatric or school-based care will be considered a strong asset.
