Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining updated inventory and overall maintenance of equipment and facilities within the designated work station
- Cleanliness, organization and general layout of the work station
- Responsible for issuing and receiving equipment and chemicals to and from trainers and trainees
- Reporting to section heads on delays, problems, materials equipment needed and progress on practical requisitions
- Preparation and assembly of practical materials
- Ensuring safety of the workshop and equipment
- Responsible for supervising and ensuring safety measures amongst trainees and any attachees in the workshop
- Carry out simple repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Requirement
- Diploma in nursing from a recognized training institution with experience of 3 years or Served in the grade of Registered Nurse III for a minimum period of two (2) years in a busy health facility • Enrolment Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
- Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya;
- Must have basic skills in book keeping
- Must be computer literate
- Above the age of 25 years
