Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding guests, employees, visitors, and property by maintaining a secure environment. The role involves monitoring access points, conducting patrols, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures to support a safe and welcoming hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations

• Monitor and control access to the premises.
• Conduct routine patrols to safeguard guests, staff, and property.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activities.
• Prepare incident and occurrence reports as required.

Safety & Protection

• Enforce security policies and procedures.
• Assist in emergency response and evacuation procedures.
• Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment where applicable.
• Report security risks and maintenance issues promptly.

Customer Service

• Welcome and assist guests professionally while maintaining security standards.
• Provide directions and information to visitors when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Security Training or an equivalent qualification.
• Additional security certifications are an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a security role, preferably within the hospitality, corporate, or commercial sector.
