Background
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007 and operating under the Ministry of Roads and Transport. The Authority is mandated to manage, develop, rehabilitate, and maintain national trunk roads across Kenya, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable transport infrastructure that supports economic growth and national development.
In line with its statutory mandate and ongoing institutional strengthening, KeNHA invites applications from suitably qualified and competent persons to fill multiple vacant positions on permanent and pensionable terms of service. These roles span technical, professional, administrative, legal, planning, and support functions that are critical to the effective delivery of the Authority’s mandate.

Security Officer II
Grade: KeNHA 8

The Security Officer II supports the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities.
Duties
Duties include implementing security policies and procedures; coordinating access control and surveillance; conducting risk assessments; liaising with law enforcement agencies; supporting incident response and investigations; ensuring compliance with security standards; and maintaining security reports and records.
