Duties and Responsibilities:
- Protect university properties against loss and damage.
- Report security incidences and emergencies to the senior security officer, investigation.
- Respond to safety, emergency and enforcement alerts.
- Investigate and document security breaches and incidents.
- Respond to security incidents, investigating violations and contributing to disciplinary or legal actions as necessary.
- Participate in carrying out intelligence gathering and investigations as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain an up-to-date record of security incidents and trends.
- Ensure high level of customer services to all clients.
- Perform any other relevant duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Security Services from time to time.
Qualification and Experience:
- Diploma in Criminology or Security-related field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Minimum KCSE C – Minus or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years’ cumulative relevant work experience.
- Have a clean record of discharge from any of the disciplined forces/services.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
- Proficiency in Crime/Investigation Management
- Knowledge in Cyber Security.
- Computer literate.
