Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013. The 1979 Act established KEMRI as a National body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify repair and maintenance requirements and report to the supervisor
• Prepare repair and maintenance schedules
• Carry out repairs and maintenance for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
• Participate in equipment servicing as required
• Test, repair and install new equipment where applicable
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time

Vacancy Requirements:

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade D+ Mandatory
• National Vocational Certificate in Education and Training (NVCET) -Level II/ National Trade test certificate or equivalent in refrigeration and air conditioning from a recognized institution. Mandatory
