Job Summary

The Senior Associate will lead the development and execution of ACP's integrated communications strategy, strengthening the institution's corporate identity and brand positioning. This role translates complex investment, climate, and infrastructure concepts into compelling narratives, manages critical stakeholder communications, and provides high-level strategic research and administrative support to the CEO’s office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation and implementation of ACP's integrated communications strategy, with a focus on the Infrastructure Climate Resilient Fund (ICRF).
  • Produce high-quality publications, annual reports, newsletters, speeches, articles, and opinion pieces tailored for investors, media, and governments.
  • Oversee the enhancement of ACP's website and digital communications, authoring transaction announcements, investor bulletins, and corporate updates.
  • Design stakeholder mapping frameworks and communication strategies targeting regulators, media, DFIs, and strategic partners while building media relations.
  • Support the CEO’s office with strategic planning, market research, briefing notes, and the synthesis of board and investment committee materials.
  • Advance fundraising activities by creating compelling investor materials, presentations, grant applications, and maintaining engagement trackers.
  • Coordinate closely with AFC’s internal cross-functional teams (Investment, Legal, Finance, ESG, Operations, and Investor Relations) to maintain strategic organizational alignment.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education & Skills: Strong academic background equipped with advanced professional skills in strategic communications, market research, and corporate branding within the investment or development sector.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. A working knowledge of French, Arabic, Portuguese, or another international language will be considered a distinct advantage.
  • Competencies: Proven capability to translate technical climate and financial structures into clear prose; outstanding project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
