About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ERP Business Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in driving the successful implementation and optimization of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems across the region. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, design effective solutions, and ensure seamless integration of ERP functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Consultancy & Solution Guidance

• Provide expert technical consultancy on ERP, HR, CRM, and software development engagements.
• Guide customers in selecting, configuring, and optimizing solutions to fit their business and financial processes.
• Translate customer business and financial requirements into sound technical solution designs.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex implementation and support issues.

Implementation Support

• Provide hands-on guidance and technical support to the implementation team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review solution configurations, workflows, and integrations for accuracy and best-practice alignment.
• Support data migration, system integration, and customization activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues arising during implementation and post-go-live.

 Financial & Accounting Domain Support

• Apply strong finance and accounting knowledge to validate ERP financial modules (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory costing, reporting, etc.).
• Advise customers on aligning system configuration with their accounting policies and reporting requirements.
• Support finance teams during month-end/year-end close configuration, reconciliation, and reporting setup.
• Help ensure statutory and compliance requirements (tax, VAT, payroll, etc.) are correctly reflected in system configuration.

 Customer Guidance & Relationship Support

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout and after implementation.
• Conduct customer training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Gather customer feedback and translate it into technical recommendations.
• Support pre-sales teams with technical scoping, solution demonstrations, and proposal input.

Technical Development & Integration

• Provide technical oversight on customizations, APIs, and system integrations (RESTful/SOAP).
• Guide development resources on best practices in coding, architecture, and system design.
• Stay current with ERP/CRM platform updates (Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc.) and emerging technologies.
• Support automation and low-code/no-code initiatives to improve business processes.

Knowledge Management & Team Capability

• Mentor and coach junior consultants and implementation staff on technical and finance-related matters.
• Document technical solutions, configurations, and support procedures for the internal knowledge base.
• Champion technical and professional certification within the team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodology.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure solutions comply with software licensing, data security, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support records.
• Support audit and quality assurance processes as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance/Accounting, Business IT, or a related field (required).
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
• Minimum 6 – 8+ years of progressive experience in ERP/CRM/business software implementation and support.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical consultancy and support to implementation teams and guiding customers directly.
• Strong finance/accounting exposure, with the ability to validate financial modules and reporting configurations.
• Experience across multiple ERP/CRM platforms preferred (Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Relevant enterprise software certifications (ERP/CRM platforms such as Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc.) required.
• Accounting/finance certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)  highly preferred.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) added advantage.
• IT service management certification (ITIL) added advantage

Technical Competencies — Programming & Development Knowledge

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge (hands-on or supervisory) in modern software development technologies, including:

Core Programming Languages

• Java  for enterprise-grade applications and backend systems
• C# (.NET Framework/.NET Core) especially for Microsoft Dynamics and enterprise solutions
• Python for automation, data analytics, and integration services
• JavaScript (and frameworks such as Node.js, React, Angular) for web-based enterprise applications
• SQL (Structured Query Language) for database management, reporting, and system integration

Enterprise & Integration Technologies

• API Development (RESTful & SOAP services) for system integrations
• Microservices Architecture for scalable enterprise solutions
• Cloud Platforms Exposure Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

ERP/CRM Technical Ecosystem

• Customization and configuration experience in platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (C#, Power Platform, Power Automate), and Sage ERP systems.
• Understanding of low-code/no-code platforms for business process automation.

Software Development & Support Practices

• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines)
• Version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Software architecture and system design principles

• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement through ERP system utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and develop project plans.
• Provide expert guidance and support to end-users on ERP functionalities and best practices.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user adoption and proficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay abreast of the latest ERP trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure successful delivery of ERP projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for ERP configurations and processes.
• Contribute to the development of long-term ERP strategy and roadmap.

• Proven experience as an ERP Consultant, with a strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Relevant ERP certifications are highly desirable.
