JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for preparation of the CIT return for KCB Bank Kenya
• Responsible for the implementation of tax governance and compliance processes for KCB Bank Kenya in compliance with the Group Tax Policy.
• Implementation of Transfer Pricing Policy in the KCB Bank Kenya context and custody of all related documentation around all TP transactions.
• Responsible for the preparation review and approval of all direct and indirect tax returns, filings, and payments for KCB Bank Kenya taxes.
• Responsible for tax risk identification, tracking and reporting for KCB Bank Kenya.
• Responsible (in consultation with Group resources) on all KCB Bank Kenya tax litigations and appropriate professional advice and justifications for tax provisions on all uncertain tax positions.
• Responsible for review of other tax returns (over and above corporation tax) as assigned for entities across the Group.
• Supervisory responsibilities over the Tax Analyst work
• Responsible for tax reporting and disclosures for KCB Bank Kenya Financials.

Minimum Position Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in a business related field from a recognized institution. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Certified Public Accountant
• At least 5 years work experience in tax management as well as management experience in financial analysis and people management
