Duties & Responsibilities

Advise the CEO and senior management on all matters relating to finance, treasury, accounting, and administration

• Prepare and monitor the annual budget against organizational performance
• Develop funding proposals and maintain relationships with potential funding partners
• Ensure proper cash and asset control while managing funding requirements
• Oversee loan portfolio quality and ensure strict compliance with policies
• Expand the customer base and grow loan disbursements in line with budget
• Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and adherence to regulatory requirements

Required Specifications

• Proven experience in financial management in a regulated commercial bank or microfinance institution
• Experience in planning, budgeting, and working with senior management and Boards
• Experience working with regulators (e.g CBK)
• Strong knowledge of Microfinance and Banking Acts, Basel regulations and Enterprise Risk Management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)
• Skilled in negotiation, fundraising and proposal writing
• Proficient in core banking and accounting software
