Senior HR Operations & Compliance Officer
Our client, a leading company in the Floriculture industry, is seeking an accomplished Senior HR Operations & Compliance Officer (Floriculture) to oversee and ensure the effective delivery of all HR functions.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role holder will be responsible for :
- 1. HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Management
- 2. Payroll, Time & Attendance Management
- 3. Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- 4. Employee Relations & Grievance Management
- 5. Health, Safety & Workplace Records
- 6. Performance Management Support
- 7. HR Systems, Documentation & Reporting
- 8. Budget Management & Third-Party Coordination
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and process improvement mindset
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Analytical skills with ability to generate meaningful HR metrics
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional) certification or equivalent HR professional certification is required
- Minimum 6-8 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience in floriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, agricultural, horticulture, or food production sectors is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of Kenyan labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience in handling employee relations, grievances, and working with unions
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
