Mission Description
The role exists to provide HR and administrative support to the KBL Warehouse team and will be based in KBL Ruaraka.
Responsibilities
- Resource for all vacant positions in the KBL Warehouse team
- Ensure all HR procedures are followed – Recruitment, Induction , separation, disciplinary, Salary Inputs, training , Appraisals etc
- Monitor Staff Leaves to ensure that staff proceed on leave as scheduled and the leave liability for the team is aligned to the KPI.
- Induct new staff on AGL and Client policies, procedures and regulations
- Coordinate with the outsourced labour provider to ensure that staffing requests are serviced in line with business needs
- Allocate staff and equipment according to the planning schedule
- Verify Subcontracted Labor invoices and rates of pay as per utilization and attendance records
- Monitor staff attendance in and out in a summary sheet to support invoicing
- Handle disciplinary issues at the KBL site
- Oversee day to day running of the HR & Admin desk-filing, response to staff queries in time, timely renewal of required certificates e.t.c
- Prepare periodic reports-casual staff utilization, leave, absence from work, turnover, discipline, training e.t.c for the KBL team
- Attend toolbox and works council meetings, take minutes and ensure follow up of action points to closure.
- Prepare stationery requests for the KBL team.
- Prepare weekly meals list for all staff & verify the same weekly to support invoicing
- Follow up on creation & approval of new employees email & system account details
- Monitor HR provider KPI and conduct periodic and documented review.
- Ensure compliance with statutory & Company rules and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, rules, government regulations, Company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resource Management or equivelent.
- Knowledge of Labour laws
- Full Member of IHRM
- CHRP certification is a MUST
Experience
- Six (6) years experience in a busy Supply Chain /FMCG environment
