Job Summary

Our ESPO team is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect to joing their team. ESPO (Engineering, Services and Platforms Office), fundamentally infrastructure and operations. The successful candidate will work with the Infrastructure and applications teams and will be responsible for documenting Infrastructure Solution Architectures and Designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Focused on the technical solution design and implementation verification of the various components of the solution architecture.
• Requires a high level of in-depth expertise.
• Closely aligned to relevant technical SME’s for collaboration.
• Responsible for the preparation of artefacts for operational handover.
• Responsible for informing stakeholders about potential threats and misalignment of solutions, including areas for improvement and optimization.

Minimum Skills & Experience Required:

• A minimum of 8 years experience in Infrastructure Architecture
• Infrastructure architecture and/or infrastructure solution design in a banking or similar large corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of server hardware and virtualisation technology.
• Working knowledge of server operating systems (RHEL, Windows Server).
• Working knowledge of storage systems (SAN and IP Storage).
• Working knowledge of data centre networking (DNS, GSLB, IP Routing).
• Gathering business and application requirements and translating that into an infrastructure architecture/design artefact.
• Hybrid Cloud (e.g AWS, Azure, VMware, Azure Local, RedHat OpenShift, Nutanix, HCS - Huawei Cloud Stack).
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Windows Server.
• IBM Flash Storage.
• Pure Storage.
• Dell PowerScale (Isilon) ECS, PowerFlex.
• Familiarity with enterprise grade networking technologies.

Desired Skills:

• Kubernetes experience is advantageous.
• Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience and certification is advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology
