JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications and experience

• An earned PhD degree in the following areas or related field from a recognized institution of higher learning.
  • Environmental Health with a Bachelor of Science in either Environmental Health or Public Health and registration with Public Health Officers and Technicians Council.
  • Water Sanitation and Hygiene
  • Occupational Safety and Health
  • Health Promotion
  • Health Education
• At least three (3) years of University teaching experience as a full-time Lecturer or in research or in industry.
• At least three (3) articles in refereed journals since being appointed as a Lecturer
• Successful supervision of at least three (3) master’s students.
• Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: postgraduate degree

Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years.
