Kenyatta University, is a multi-campus public university in Kenya. As of October 2014, it was one of twenty three public universities in the country
Qualifications
- An earned PhD degree or equivalent in Health Information Management or a related field from an accredited and recognized university
- Master’s Degree in Health Information Management or a related field from an accredited and recognized university
- At least three (3) years of teaching/research experience at the university level as a Lecturer
- Accumulated at least six equivalent publication points as a Lecturer
- Supervised at least four (4) postgraduate students as a Lecturer.
- Evidence of applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Lecturer.
- Evidence of good quality teaching.
- Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops
- Been registered by the Health Records and Information Managers Board
Terms of Service
The terms of service include a competitive remuneration package which includes a basic salary, house allowance, medical cover as per University Scheme and Leave allowance.
