Role Overview

Moringa is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to manage marketing strategy, customer acquisition strategies, and go-to-market execution across our Working Professionals and Corporate Training product lines. This role blends strong commercial acumen with hands-on marketing leadership, translating market intelligence into positioning, campaigns, and revenue-driving programs. You will oversee budget planning and allocation across your product portfolio, with the Product Marketing Manager (Working Professionals) reporting directly into this role.

You'll partner closely with Product, Sales, Admissions, and CX to ensure every product has a clear market narrative, a validated GTM plan, a sound acquisition strategy, and the collateral and data infrastructure needed to win.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Team Leadership

  • Develop marketing strategy for Working Professionals and Corporate Training, aligned to quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Manage and mentor the Product Marketing Manager (Working Professionals) and support their positioning and GTM work with commercial oversight.
  • Present growth insights, budget performance, and market opportunities to senior leadership; act as a commercially-minded partner in pricing and revenue decisions.

Customer Acquisition & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Build and lead GTM plans for new and existing programs
  • Partner with the Product Manager to validate the commercial viability of new positioning and value propositions, tying each to a customer-oriented benefit.

Budget Management

  • Own and manage the marketing budget across supported products, allocating spend to the highest-performing acquisition and retention channels.
  • Continuously assess ROI and cost efficiency across campaigns, reallocating budget based on performance data.
  • Forecast budget needs alongside pipeline health and revenue targets, presenting recommendations to leadership.

Market Intelligence & Buyer Personas

  • Document and maintain buyer personas and purchase journeys (HR Directors, CIOs, L&D Managers, working professionals), and use these insights to drive changes in marketing and sales processes.
  • Own the competitive landscape report on a set cadence, serving as the internal expert on competitor positioning.

Demand Generation & Channel Oversight

  • Direct paid media strategy (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and third-party partners) as a core lever of customer acquisition.
  • Work with Marketing and Admissions to optimize email CRM across the customer lifecycle, improving activation, reducing churn, and increasing LTV.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing and content planning.

Sales & Admissions Enablement

  • Train Sales and Admissions teams on the problems Moringa solves for buyers and users; build the internal tools and external collateral (pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies) they need, and coach them on how and when to use it.

Creative & Content Collateral

  • Work with designers to deliver all marketing collateral and product-specific design needs in support of positioning and campaigns.

Community & Sentiment Management

  • Liaise with Social Media, Admissions Advisors, and Technical Mentors to track and grade customer sentiment, feeding response strategies that protect NPS.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to ensure their content calendar supports enrollment targets.

Soft Skills & Behaviors

  • Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
  • Confident storyteller who can translate buyer insight into positioning
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management (Product, Sales, Design, Community)
  • People management experience or readiness to lead and develop direct reports
  • Highly organized, comfortable owning multiple products/workstreams and budgets at once
  • Curious, proactive, and results-focused

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years in marketing, with a track record spanning product marketing, growth, or commercial marketing (EdTech, Fintech, or E-commerce or similar preferred).
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or people-management role.
  • Demonstrated ownership of budgets, customer acquisition targets, and GTM launches from early through scaled delivery.
  • Strong understanding of B2B/B2C sales cycles and marketing-to-sales alignment.
  • Track record of improving funnel KPIs (CPL, CPA, CAC, LTV, churn) and managing budget efficiency.
