Background

Isiolo County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions.

Positions and Requirements

1. SENIOR PRINCIPAL SUPERINTENDING ENGINEER JOB GROUP R (1 POST)

TERMS: Permanent

Requirements for appointment (For appointment to this grade, an officer must):

• Have a bachelors degree in a field of agricultural engineering, such as soil and water, mechanization/farm power structures or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• A masters degree in any of the relevant fields is an added advantage.
• Be registered by the engineer's registration board of Kenya.
• Have demonstrated administrative ability, professional and technical competence in the field of agricultural engineering.

2. COUNTY LIASON, PARTNERSHIP AND NGO COORDINATION JOB GROUP R (1 POST)

TERMS: Permanent

Requirements for appointment:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, International Relations, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• A Master's degree in a relevant field may be an added advantage.

3. Unspecified Position (Requirements/Duties):

Duties (partial):

• Requisitioning refills for the community health workers’ kits.

Requirements for Appointment (partial):

• Certificate in any of the following disciplines: Community Health, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or Community Development from a recognized university.
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and result.
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade C+ (Plus) and above or its recognized equivalent qualifications.
• A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Sociology, Social Work or Community Development; or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya. Qualifications in Psychology, and/or Guidance and Counselling.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
