Requirements for Appointment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Investigation, Criminology, or Forensic Studies.
• Certificate in Management Course (minimum four weeks) — an added advantage.
• Certificate in firefighting and first aid.
• Exemplary service certificate.
• Paramilitary or Military training qualifications.
• Three years’ work experience in a related field.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe custody of the mace.
• Ensuring safety and security of Assembly premises, firearms, and members.
• Controlling authorized parking and maintaining order.
• Performing chamber and ceremonial duties.
• Receiving visitors and suppliers and directing them to relevant departments.
• Ensuring cleanliness of premises.
• Ensuring CCTV cameras are functional.
• Securing conference facilities, especially when committees operate outside the Assembly.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
