Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
  • Install, commission, and calibrate new machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Replace and maintain mechanical components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and optimize machine efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in pumps, including operations, troubleshooting, maintenance selection.
  • Test and calibrate mechanical systems to meet operational specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support reliable plant operations.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
  • Support planned shutdowns, overhauls, and project installations.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience as a mechanical technician in a manufacturing industry
