As a Senior Recruiter – Africa, you will partner with business leaders and hiring managers across the African region to attract, assess and hire exceptional talent. You will lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple countries and functions while delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience. The position can be based out of Lagos, Nigeria or Nairobi, Kenya.
You will serve as a trusted talent advisor, leveraging market intelligence, innovative sourcing strategies and data-driven insights to build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines that support BIC's business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple African markets for a wide range of corporate, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing roles.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define recruitment strategies and provide consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience by ensuring timely communication, transparency and high-quality execution.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage both active and passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, employee referrals and local market initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
- Promote and strengthen BIC's employer brand across digital platforms, professional networks and recruitment events.
- Manage candidate activity within SuccessFactors and LinkedIn Recruiter, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with recruitment processes.
- Use recruitment metrics and market intelligence to improve hiring effectiveness, time-to-fill, quality of hire and cost efficiency.
- Partner with Country HRBPs and business leaders to support workforce planning and talent mapping initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with local employment legislation and BIC's global recruitment policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools and best practices across the Africa Talent Acquisition team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of recruitment experience, including corporate Talent Acquisition and/or executive search or agency recruitment.
- Proven experience recruiting across multiple African countries and managing international hiring processes.
- Consumer goods or manufacturing industry recruitment experience is preferred.
- Strong expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing techniques to identify passive talent.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels.
- Strong interviewing, assessment and candidate evaluation capabilities.
- Excellent project management, organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requisitions.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using recruitment metrics to drive decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- French and/or Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
