Duties will include;

LIASING WITH STATUTORY BODIES

• Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Services
• Kenya Dairy Board
• Pharmacy & Poisons Board
• Kenya Radiation Protection Board
• Kenya Veterinary Board
• Kenya Bureau of Standards
• Nairobi City County, amongst others

KNOWLEDGE OF IMPORTATION PROCESS

• Processing of IDF’s and lodging them on Kentrade/New Kentrade/ICMS
• Insurance calculation for shipment
• Liaising with Clearing Agent on Shipments
• Follow up with suppliers on status of shipment
• Calculation of Duty Payments

Qualifications and Skills;

• Certificate or diploma in Clearing & Forwarding.
• 1-2 years of experience in similar capacity
• good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
