Role Profile

Our Shop Administrators wear many hats. First and foremost, they ensure that our field agents are supplied with stock. They also handle retail sales to our walk-in customers, and they support existing customers with troubleshooting and warranty claims. Not least, they undertake careful management of the shop's stock and ensure that the shop is always clean and presentable

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure that the company's field agents need for products is met by allocating them with stock
  • Receive and confirm stock delivered from the warehouse in the Company internal system.
  • Manage shop inventory, including timely requisitions to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Handle replacements under warranty conditions and provide troubleshooting support
  • Conduct weekly stock checks and reconcile inventory in the internal company system,
  • Attend to shop walk-in enquiries, sales and customer service needs.
  • Educate customers on products, procedures and terms by providing clear and accurate information
  • Maintain accurate records, including filling Field Agent agreements and related documents.
  • Ensure the shop is well-maintained, tidy, orderly and vigilant with company standards
  • Ensure compliance with local government regulations

Academic qualification and work experience

  • A diploma in any academic field is a minimum requirement.
  • Two years of experience in a similar role is an added advantage
  • A speaker of the local mother tongue is a distinct advantage

Key skills required

  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellence in Kiswahili and English
  • An outgoing and positive attitude
  • Self-motivated
