Showroom Manager at Keda(Kenya) Ceramics Co., Ltd
About the Role
- Train the team to achieve goals, including sales and employee work ability and quality; manage showroom sales staff, including daily work performance, KPI and employee relationship management.
- Communicate well with the warehouse, planning and transportation departments to meet customer needs in the pickup, delivery and transportation links.
- Develop an online promotion plan to promote and update company product information through Tiktok and at least three other online brands.
- Crisis management, report to superiors before sales fail to meet targets and other crisis situations occur.
Main Job Work

- Sales & Marketing Management: Oversee all sales and marketing activities in the showroom.Execute marketing campaigns within approved budgets to maintain market leadership and drive steady growth.Develop and implement product promotion strategies and event plans.
- Operations & Administration: Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and planning systems.Ensure payment processes comply with company policies, prioritizing staff and customer safety.Supervise the proper functioning of IT systems and other critical showroom equipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory movements (inbound/outbound, transfers, sales) to minimize stock shortages.Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment.Ensure accurate labeling (product name, code, price) and organized display of samples.
- Customer Service & Satisfaction: Guide sales and customer service teams to enhance performance and customer experience.Maintain and regularly update customer databases, including visitor records.Handle wholesale and project orders, coordinating delivery logistics.
- Showroom Presentation: Optimize product displays, layout, and customer flow to boost sales, aesthetics, and shopping experience.Ensure the showroom remains clean and visually appealing.
- Team Management: Train staff to improve sales techniques, customer service, and inventory management skills.Monitor employee performance and enforce operational standards.
- Cost & Profitability Control: Oversee operating costs and expenditures to ensure profitability.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
Education Background
- Bachelor degree or above, marketing or international trade.
- Professional Qualification or title: Candidates with retail sales certification or large-scale store promotion awards will be preferred.
Qualifications
- More than 3 years of cross-cultural management experience, more than 2 years of building materials, especially ceramic tile or sanitary ware sales management experience, directly manage a team of more than 10 people.
- Understand the entire process of store retail, master marketing theory, be familiar with various marketing means and methods, and effectively track and improve store sales.
- More than 5 years of store sales and management experience, with cross-departmental communication and cooperation experience.
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate and coordinate between different departments.
- Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, those who are proficient in India and Somali are preferred.
- Proficient in office software, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents.
- Proficient in communication and collaboration via email to finish work.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to analyze and judge customer purchasing behavior to complete transactions.
- Ability to plan sales, innovate sales models, and organize and coordinate various store promotions.
- Ability to make decisions on various emergencies, and cross-cultural and cross-language communication skills.
