Background
Our client in the ICT industry, specializing in high-quality technical equipment and innovative business solutions, is seeking a polished, high-energy Showroom Sales Representative to join their showroom operations, drive revenue, and provide exceptional technical sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure the organization-wide central calendar of events.
- Attending to walk- in customers satisfactorily by ensuring that they are served in a timely and courteous manner as well as directing all visitors to various departments.
- Receiving and directing telephone and other forms of communication in a professional manner
- Responsible for ensuring that the company’s image is upheld in the showroom through professionalism and proper presentation of the company’s products
- Follow up on all enquiries made at the showroom to convert them to actual sales
- Follow up on products sold to customers to ensure that the customers are satisfied with the products and avail feedback received from such follow-ups
- Responsible for marketing the company’s products through cold calling, prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales
- Organizing products in the showroom, ensuring that the showroom always remains neat and that products are visible to the customers
- Receiving machines/equipment sold only by Pergamon for repair and issuing job cards to clients on the same, then hand over the machines/equipment to the technical personnel
- Contacting the customers when their machines are ready for collection
- Ensuring that all service and maintenance charges are collected before releasing the machines/equipment to the customers
- Cashiering duties, ensuring that all transactions are entered into correctly and that the day’s sales are reconciled at the end of each business day
- Writing correspondence as may be required from time to time
- Any other duty assigned by the management from time to time
Skills, Competencies, and Experience
The successful candidate will be required to have the following skills and competencies:
- Experience: Previous experience in sales (preferably within the ICT or electronics sector).
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, professional telephone etiquette, and basic financial reconciliation ability.
- Attributes: Highly organized, proactive "self-starter" mentality, and the ability to explain technical products to diverse clients.
- Education: Sales and marketing related
