Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Site Manager to oversee major construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure project success through effective leadership and communication. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Managing site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers; monitoring progress and resolving any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, working closely with on-site representatives.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- You will utilize technology to monitor site progress, review reports, and conduct inspections.
- You will need to effectively communicate project status, manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project participants and senior management.
- Prepare detailed project reports, financial forecasts, and status updates.
Qualifications and Experience
- The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities are critical.
- This requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to delegate effectively, and a strong capacity for supervision and performance management.
- Experience with construction management software and digital collaboration tools is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a significant focus on site supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects and overseeing multiple sites.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control.
- Proficiency in construction management software, BIM, and digital collaboration tools.
