JOB DETAILS:
The Role
- Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications, including blade positioning, web path setup, core loading, and tension adjustment.
- Inspect printed rolls during slitting and identify, mark, and remove defects to ensure customer quality requirements are met.
- Monitor machine performance, web tension, and roll quality — edge quality, winding, roll hardness, and squareness — throughout production.
- Complete production records, including run sheets, pallet tags, waste logs, and quality records, and report equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and quality standards always.

Level of Education: associate degree
