This individual will support the company's marketing and brand visibility by creating high-quality photo and video content, managing social media platforms, and promoting the company's events, services, projects, and brand.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing engaging content before, during, and after events and ensuring the company's digital platforms remain active, professional, creative, and aligned with the brand.

Responsibilities or duties

Photography & Videography: -

  • Photograph and record high-quality content at events, corporate functions, activations, and other company activities.
  • Capture event set-up, behind-the-scenes activities, key moments, guests, décor, branding, products, and overall event experiences.
  • Produce short-form videos, reels, stories, highlights, and promotional content suitable for social media.
  • Edit photographs and videos to a professional standard for use across digital platforms.
  • Organize and maintain a properly labelled digital library of photographs and video footage.
  • Ensure appropriate equipment is available, maintained, and ready for events.
  • Coordinate with event teams to identify key moments and content opportunities.

Social Media Management: -

  • Manage the company's social media pages, including content posting, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with upcoming events, campaigns, promotions, and company activities.
  • Create engaging captions, posts, stories, reels, and other social media content.
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and enquiries and ensure timely responses or escalation where necessary.
  • Maintain a consistent brand image, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
  • Track social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
  • Ensure all published content is accurate, professional, and approved where required.

Event Content Coverage & Coordination: -

  • Attend events to provide photography, videography, and social media coverage.
  • Coordinate content coverage when the company has multiple events or event sites taking place on the same day, ensuring each location receives appropriate coverage.
  • Develop daily coverage schedules and coordinate with photographers, videographers, event teams, or other assigned personnel where additional support is required.
  • Ensure key moments and content from each assigned event are captured within the required timelines.
  • Capture suitable content before, during, and after events.
  • Produce same-day or timely social media updates where required.
  • Identify opportunities for client testimonials, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and event highlights.
  • Ensure content is captured without disrupting event operations or guest experience.

Content Creation & Marketing Support: -

  • Develop creative content ideas to showcase the company's events, capabilities, venues, services, and previous work.
  • Support promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives with photography, video, graphics, and written content.
  • Repurpose event content into posts and promotional material for future use.
  • Assist with website content, newsletters, presentations, digital advertisements, and other marketing materials where required.
  • Collaborate with the Events, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure relevant content is captured and shared.

Equipment & Asset Management: -

  • Take proper care and responsibility for all company-provided photography, videography, computing, and other content-creation equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is securely stored, transported, handled, and used appropriately.
  • Conduct basic checks before and after events to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Report any loss, damage, malfunction, or missing equipment immediately.
  • Maintain an accurate record of assigned equipment and accessories.
  • Ensure equipment is returned promptly after events and stored securely.
  • Avoid unauthorized use or lending of company equipment.

Brand & Digital Presence: -

  • Ensure all social media content reflects the company's brand standards and professional image.
  • Maintain consistency in visual quality, messaging, logos, colours, and other brand elements.
  • Monitor the company's online presence and flag reputational or customer-service issues promptly.
  • Keep up to date with emerging social media platforms, content formats, tools, and trends.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring: -

  • Monitor social media performance, including reach, engagement, followers, views, and content performance.
  • Prepare periodic social media and content performance reports.
  • Identify high-performing content and recommend ways to improve engagement and audience growth.
  • Maintain records of content produced and campaigns supported.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Good photography and videography skills.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
  • Creative eye for visual storytelling and content creation.
