Kenya Red Cross is one of the many International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement societies around the world. The Kenya organisation was established in 1965, The Kenya Red Cross supports and runs a number of projects whilst raising awareness to the Kenyan public about the current issues or problems which may affect them.

Responsibilities or duties

We are offering an internship opportunity for a creative and self-driven Social Media Management Intern to join Digital, Content and IT Department.

Qualifications or requirements

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Tiktok,Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), including best practices, analytics, and current trends.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create engaging content and effectively communicate brand messages.
  • Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and apply findings to improve strategies.

Experience needed

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations, including content creation and scheduling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Any other provided details

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
