Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing social media strategies across platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Responsibilities include creating and curating compelling content, developing content strategies, monitoring and optimizing social media campaigns, and interacting with audiences to foster engagement. The role also involves collaborating with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives.
Qualifications
Proficient in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
Strong Communication and Writing skills
Experience in designing and executing Content Strategy
Knowledge of analytics tools and reporting to assess performance on social platforms
Creative mindset with an ability to understand and align with brand voice
Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple platforms and tasks
Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
Prior experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
