JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose: To assist in the development and maintenance of web applications for the climate-smart hub, contributing to both the front-end and back-end using the React and Laravel frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing user interface components using React.js.
• Support the development of server-side logic and APIs using Laravel (PHP).
• Help in building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate front-end and back-end aspects of the application.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software issues.
• Learn and apply best practices in coding, security, and data protection.
• Contribute to the documentation of software functionality.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Recent graduate or current student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of React.js and its core principles (or strong JavaScript fundamentals).
• Basic understanding of Laravel (PHP) or similar MVC frameworks.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL) and RESTful APIs.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
