You will debug real production issues across tiers, which is where most of the genuine learning on this platform happens, and work in containerized environments with Docker. AI is part of the work here, both in how we build — AI-assisted development is normal practice on this team — and in what we build, as AI capability moves into the product. If you are already using these tools seriously and thinking about where they help and where they mislead, that is directly relevant. There is a clear growth path toward Senior Software Engineer, and the modernization work happening between our mature payroll core and the modern stack means genuinely interesting architecture to grow into rather than years of maintenance.
