We are seeking a highly motivated Solar PV Trainee to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will support the installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of Solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician looking to grow their career in the renewable energy sector while working alongside experienced engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Solar PV Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in Solar PV installation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of off-grid, hybrid and grid-tied Solar PV systems.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot PV systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid EPRA Solar PV Technician License and a driving licence will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Solar PV systems.
  • Conduct site surveys, inspections and routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system faults.
  • Prepare basic technical and service reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support project delivery and provide excellent customer service.
