The Field Service Supervisor ensures that Baker Hughes maximizes its short- and long-term revenue. Ensure on-time delivery, contract adherence and cash collection for the assigned jobs. Coordinate the required job activities across organizational boundaries to ensure Baker Hughes executes the job in line with customer expectations and contract terms and conditions.
Responsibilities or duties
As a Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Handling the scheduling and dispatching of resources in line with job requirements to provide effective support.
- Applying Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.
- Coordinating and monitoring all job activities for our business to ensure successful completion.
- Managing internal and external customers to secure an updated forecast of all FS activities.
- Coordinating and planning of FS resources in line with customers’ need and securing right competence & utilization.
- Coordinating with FS Team Lead regarding personnel planning/inquiries if needed.
- Managing bookings and controlling timesheets/service tickets.
- Collaborating with co-workers and customers to provide technical guidance to solve complex technical problems.
- Leading business reviews and technical presentations and attending customer meetings to advise on service delivery.
- Prompting escalation of issues that can impact service delivery, ensuring invoice is in line with contract/quote, with no revenue leakage and timely collection of cash.
- Acting as primary contact for client for job preparation, execution and closeout, and as such, will manage the relationship to ensure business success for Baker Hughes.
Qualifications or requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have 5+ years of total oilfield experience.
- Have at least 3 years as a Supervisor in Waste Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in waste management on offshore installations.
- Have knowledge of Field Service waste management installation and maintenance operations.
- Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead teams.
- Have good leadership capabilities and the ability to manage and coordinate field activities.
- Have experience with deep water waste management operations.
- Show proficiency in IT such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Demonstrate good communication with interpersonal skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with teams and customers.
- Demonstrate experience in mentoring, developing and motivating teams in a global environment.
- Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of the care and use of Solids Control/Waste Management equipment. (i.e., dryers, centrifuges, vacuums, screw conveyors, pumps, etc.)
Experience needed
5+ years of total oilfield experience. At least 3 years as a Supervisor in Waste Management. At least 5 years of experience in waste management on offshore installations.
