Sound Manager / DJ

Job Description

The Sound Manager/DJ is responsible for creating an engaging entertainment experience by managing audio systems, selecting appropriate music, and ensuring high-quality sound during events and daily operations. The role also includes maintaining audio equipment and coordinating with event organizers to deliver seamless entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sound and audio equipment.
• Curate and play music appropriate for the venue, event, or audience.
• Set up, test, and troubleshoot sound systems before events.
• Monitor sound quality throughout performances and functions.
• Coordinate with event organizers, performers, and management on audio requirements.
• Maintain audio equipment and report technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with venue policies, noise regulations, and safety standards.
• Create a lively, enjoyable atmosphere while maintaining professionalism.
• Keep music playlists current and suitable for diverse audiences.
