We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Clinical Officer (Paediatrics) to join our team at our Nairobi facility. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive care to children and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and conditions.
  • Provide specialized paediatric care, including management of chronic conditions.
  • Conduct regular health check-ups and developmental assessments for children.
  • Administer vaccinations and provide immunisation counselling.
  • Educate parents and guardians on child health, nutrition, and safety.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in paediatric medicine.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery with a specialization in Paediatrics.
  • Valid registration and practice license from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
  • Proven experience in paediatric care.
  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Experience Needed

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Officer, with a significant focus on Paediatrics.
