Steward
Job Summary

The Steward will support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, washing dishes, organizing kitchen equipment, and ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Clean kitchen work areas and storage rooms.
  • Dispose of waste properly.
  • Organize kitchen supplies.
  • Support chefs with basic food preparation when required.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education.
  • Certificate in Hospitality is an added advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering establishment is preferred.
