Responsibilities or duties
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items. Issue stock to departments while maintaining accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or variances.
- Conduct routine stock counts and reconciliations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the store area.
- Prepare stock reports and support inventory management processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all stock movements.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Stores Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use inventory management systems.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience needed
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality, catering, or food production.
- Experience using the Odoo system will be an added advantage.
