Kikwetu Flowers Limited, a leading player in the floriculture industry, is seeking to recruit a highly competent, results-driven, and experienced Store Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Maintain accurate stock records for all items
- Follow receiving procedures—checking quantities, quality, and documentation (delivery notes, LPOs, GRNs).
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) systems.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations and report any variances promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain updated bin cards, stock sheets, and ERP/system records at all times.
- Ensure stores are clean, organized, and clearly labeled for easy access and tracking.
- Enforce safe storage practices for chemicals, fertilizers, and flammable items in compliance with HSE standards.
- Supervise loading, offloading, and proper stacking of goods to prevent damage or contamination.
- Maintain secure access control and safeguard all stock against loss, theft, or misuse.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Maintain proper filing of all inventory records—delivery notes, requisitions, issue vouchers, stock adjustments, etc.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring complete and up-to-date documentation.
