Currently enjoying a leading position in trading of a variety of Building Materials.

Role Context

We are looking for a Stores Supervisor to be based at our Miritini factory in Mombasa.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervision of staff and coordination of stores management system activities and providing management support in ensuring efficient operations in supplies and inventory management.

Will be responsible for supervising the receipt, storage and distribution of goods in a timely manner, monitoring inventory levels and sourcing for good and services. Generating LPOs, GRNs, Invoicing and liaising with accounts department for payment processing.

Qualifications and Experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least a Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain management or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in a steel manufacturing industry in Stores and Supplies Management.
  • Excellent Supervisory and quality management skills.
  • Experience in stock management systems (ERPs) shall be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
