WEL is inviting accomplished professionals to serve as Volunteer Members of our Board of Directors. This profile focuses on driving organizational growth, building institutional sustainability, and expanding our footprint through strategic funding networks and high-level collaborations [INDEX].

Core Areas of Expertise Required

Strategic Partnerships & Networking

•  Building relationships with development partners, philanthropic foundations, and corporate sectors to open doors for impactful collaborations.

Resource Mobilization & Fundraising

•  Minimum 6 years of proven experience securing funding from international donors, foundations, and bilateral/multilateral agencies 

Strategy Development

•  Deep knowledge of donor engagement frameworks and modern philanthropic giving trends.

Expected Commitment

• Attend quarterly board meetings and occasional committee meetings .
• Support active resource mobilization efforts and institutional development .
• Participate directly in strategic discussions and informed governance decision-making.
