The Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) is responsible for developing and delivering safe, efficient, and compliant structural designs for buildings, modular systems, and infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing conceptual to detailed designs, performing structural analyses using engineering software (such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, Prokon, and SAFE), and ensuring that all designs meet client requirements and international codes (e.g., Eurocode, BS, ACI, ASCE).

Qualifications

• Stay updated with emerging materials, technologies, and design methods relevant to civil and structural engineering.
• Participate in internal design reviews, training, and innovation initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution
• Proficient in Structural Design and the ability to read and interpret structural drawings
• Must be a Registered Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK);
• A thorough technical understanding of building and construction management
• With at 10-15 years of successful work as a Structural Engineer
• Experience in the management of construction projects
