Key Responsibilities & Role Scope
- Installation & Deployment: Execute end-to-end installation, termination, testing, and certification of enterprise structured cabling.
- Cable Infrastructure: Install Cat6A and fiber optic cable infrastructure in compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnostics & Testing: Conduct precise network diagnostics using Fluke DSX testing equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Certificate in ICT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in enterprise structured cabling installation and maintenance.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Cat6A, fiber optic installation, testing, and certification equipment (specifically Fluke DSX testing gear).
- Standards & Certification: Knowledge of TIA/EIA-568 cabling standards. NCA (National Construction Authority) registration required for the contractor or supervising technician.
