A student counsellor requires strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, with formal education in fields like psychology or counselling.

Counsel students on academic programs, admission requirements, and visa procedures. Assist with application forms, documentation, and submissions. Provide accurate and updated information on fees, scholarships, and living arrangements. Maintain relationships with educational institutions for smooth student placements. Follow up with students and provide ongoing support throughout the admission process. Participate in education fairs, seminars, and recruitment events. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely CRM updates. Safeguard student data and uphold confidentiality. Promote fairness and equality in all student interactions.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.

Diploma in business, sales and marketing or related field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in student advising or international education.
