Job Summary:

The Supermarket Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process customer purchases using the POS system.
  2. Handle cash, card, and mobile payments accurately.
  3. Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  5. Answer customer questions and resolve issues promptly.
  6. Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  7. Follow all store policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a cashier in a retail store or restaurant.
  • Deep understanding of POS systems.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good customer service skills.
