Capacity Spring Africa is seeking an experienced and skilled Supervisor to join our client, Terra Marura Bar and Grill. The successful candidate will manage daily operations, lead teams, and ensure excellent customer service in a busy bar and restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee daily operations of the bar and restaurant.
• Supervise waitstaff, bartenders, and stewards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle VIP guests and manage complaints professionally.
• Manage stocktakes, requisitions, and minimize pilferage.
• Oversee daily cash-ups, reconcile bills, and handle shift reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Train and develop team members.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Food & Beverage Service and Sales, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 to 3 years working experience in a busy bar, lounge, or restaurant environment.
• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or team-leader capacity.
• Complete, up-to-date working knowledge of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, pairing options, and cocktail trends.
• Must have a valid public health certificate.
• Proven ability to handle stocktakes, manage stock requisitions, audit variances, reduce pilferage, and minimize equipment breakage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to handle VIP guests and manage complaints.
