JOB DETAILS:

Position: Supervisor
Industry: Hospitality / Restaurant

Job Summary:
The Supervisor will oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, coordinate staff, maintain service standards, and ensure customers receive excellent service while supporting management in achieving operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise waiters, waitresses, bartenders, stewards, and other service staff.
• Allocate duties and coordinate staff during each shift.
• Monitor customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
• Ensure food, beverage, hygiene, and service standards are maintained.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, cashier, and management teams.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage.
• Handle operational issues and escalate serious matters to management.
• Conduct shift briefings and handovers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel, bar, or similar establishment.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage busy shifts.
• Professional, organized, and results-oriented.
