Role Overview
The successful candidate will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, overseeing procurement, inventory, and supplier management while ensuring alignment with the hospital’s goals and policies. This role requires close collaboration across departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective procurement and supply chain strategies
- Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, and relationships
- Oversee tendering, contract negotiation, and procurement processes
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory standards
- Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize losses
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and strategic purchasing
- Oversee the full supply chain cycle from requisition to delivery
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Support continuous improvement in supply chain processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field
- Professional certification (KISM, CIPS)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in healthcare procurement and ERP systems is an added advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and accountability
