Role Summary

The Intern provides day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Sustainability and Compliance department, assisting with certification record-keeping, audit preparation, health and safety monitoring, training coordination, and supplier and packaging compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support certification and audit activities by maintaining certification records and trackers, preparing audit evidence and filing relevant documents.
  • Support Health, Safety and Environmental activities through PPE inspections and stock management, waste and pest control coordination, and routine workplace and hygiene compliance inspections.
  • Coordinate training logistics and maintain training attendance records.
  • Maintain packaging and labelling compliance records, including artwork versions and SKU changes.
  • Support compliance data entry, document uploads, filing, and record management.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Compliance Officer and Global Certifications & Compliance Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow up on actions
  • Previous attachment in a food manufacturing environment or exposure to ISO/FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP or other food safety systems is an added advantage.
