JOB DETAILS:

The Frontier Pioneer School is a pre-school based in Kericho County, Kenya, dedicated to providing the holistic development of a child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs to build a solid and broad foundation for lifelong learning. We focus on learning, playing, and achieving across classes including PP2, PP1, Playgroup, and Daycare, with Grade 1 classes coming soon.

Responsibilities:

Teach swimming to children, ensuring pool safety, and implementing beginner-to-intermediate coaching techniques.

Qualifications:

Recognised swimming-instruction qualification, current First Aid/CPR and lifeguarding or water-rescue certification.

Experience:

At least two years’ experience teaching swimming to children.

General Requirements for Teaching Roles:

Demonstrate digital literacy, sound communication skills in English and Kiswahili, familiarity with CBE, a strong safeguarding ethos, teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to learner success. TSC registration is mandatory for TSC-regulated teaching positions.
